Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees

About the Festival of Trees
Get ready to feel the joy of the holiday season at the Inaugural Festival of Trees! Hosted by Explore Charleston, the event benefits the cancer patients, survivors and supporters of Dragon Boat Charleston. Held at the beautiful and newly renovated Charleston Visitor’s Center on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston, the free event will feature 20 themed and decorated trees. Each tree is lovingly decorated in honor or memory of someone who has battled cancer. Local Charlestonians and visitors alike will stroll through the event and have the opportunity to bid and vote on trees online to support Dragon Boat Charleston — and reading the stories at each tree is a treat in itself! The event also includes a beautiful menorah display in honor of Hanukkah.

Link for bidding and voting on trees will be live on December 1. However, you can go ahead and click on the link to get registered and all set to bid! Items will be available to view by Friday, November 20.

Good luck to everyone — and THANK YOU to our sponsors and the amazing groups who adopted trees and decorated them so beautifully and for the fabulous Menorah display!
