Practice – Breast Cancer Survivor (BCS)
A night allowing Breast Cancer Survivors and Patients to paddle together. However, if you do not identify as BCS, you may STILL register and paddle with this group!
All participants must sign the DBC Waiver, prior to participating.
Some of Our Guidelines:
- We do not paddle in extreme weather conditions (hurricanes, flood watches, small craft advisories, temps below 50, etc..).
- Please click here to sign up for “Rained Out,” to receive e-mail and/or text message notifications about practice cancellations.
- For practices, wear clothes/layers that can get wet and bring plenty of water. NO flip flops….wear closed toe shoes (i.e. water sandals, sneakers). Hats & sunglasses are also recommended! You do not need to bring your own paddle or PFD–All equipment is provided for you on the docks!
- For practices, park at Brittlebank Park, the lot across the street from the yellow Marriott Hotel on Lockwood Blvd. You will meet under the gazebo, as you make your way to the docks.
