Winter Wellness 2024
The 2024 Winter Wellness program runs from January 1- March 2.
Start the year off with Winter Wellness! It's free to all members of DBC. You can participate as a member of a team (based on your location) or individually. This year's schedule includes fitness walks, nutrition-based tours, yoga, and more!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO JOIN A TEAM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITIES! Winter Wellness activities keep us connected and active during our off-season.
Teams are developed geographically and are for those who love to compete.
- North Area: Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, North Charleston, Goose Creek, Summerville, Monk's Corner
- South Area: Downtown Charleston, West Ashley, James Island, John's Island, Kiawah, Seabrook, Edisto
Click here to register. Each week you will complete the next section and submit it no later than noon on the following Sunday. Weeks run from Monday-Sunday, with Sunday being the day to enter the previous week's totals.

A person who has had surgery, been stuck in the infusion room or under a radiation machine (cut, poisoned and burned) doesn’t feel like doing anything. It sucks the strength from a person. You feel that you will never feel human again. You feel ruined. Dragon boating is an opportunity to get outdoors and become one with your body again. You start to feel like maybe you can overcome the cancer toll. You note your surroundings and realize what a great lifestyle the Lowcountry has.
